Many are quick to think 'Moab' when they envision Utah and mountain biking bliss, often overlooking the high-desert solitude of the state's Southwest corner. Come see for yourself why this mesa-riddled region of Utah boasts top notch riding as part of a 3-day 'best-of' itinerary that encompasses the sweetest desert singletrack and slickrock including Gooseberry Mesa & Hurricane Rim. Discover the beauty of Utah's Holy Land while you ride, roam, & repeat.

This tour is based out of Springdale & Hurricane, gateways to Zion National Park, and we highly recommend spending an extra day or two to explore this incredible region off the bike. Accounting for some fine lodging and dining throughout our tour, we're well aware that guests believe a mountain biking trip shouldn't be all hard work and sweating. Enjoying the fine comforts and luxuries at choice hotels and eating at the best spots in the Southwest, you'll be nourished and well-rested to tackle the stunning trails with your family and friends.

With round-trip transport provided from Las Vegas, full-suspension mountain bikes now included in this trip price, and all the details taken care of, you can take a mountain biking holiday this season and not sweat the details!

DAY ONE  16-24 miles

We begin our tour with a morning pickup in Las Vegas, Nevada before a van transfer to Hurricane, Utah. Here, we’ll get you fitted to your bike and then set you loose to spend the day riding the J.E.M. network of trails, perched below towering mesas used for the infamous Red Bull Rampage. This ride is a nice warm-up to the days that lie ahead, offering a mix of fast, open-desert descents, manageable climbs and a dash of technical riding along the Hurricane Rim. We wrap up our spin back in town, grab lunch, and transfer to Springdale for overnight accommodations. Stroll this quaint town on the outskirts of Zion National Park before we grab a fabulous dinner in town.

DAY TWo  13-26 miles

Start your morning with an optional sunrise hike in Zion National Park before we head to the iconic Gooseberry Mesa, where we’ll spend the day riding on Mars-esque slickrock. World-class is a term often used to describe the riding here, but The Mesa is truly in a class of its own, unlike what you've experience before. We’ll spend the afternoon tackling a few loops and taking in views from high above, with a lunch break back at the trailhead. We’ll have the option to return for an afternoon lap at Gooseberry or head over to Wire Mesa for an intermediate loop. Advanced riders may opt for a point-to-point downhill on Grafton Mesa to make their way back to Springdale. We reconvene for our final dinner together tonight at another standout restaurant in town.

DAY Three  15-18 miles

Rise and shine! An early morning hike or ride through Zion is highly recommended if you won't be spending time after our tour to explore the Park. We'll check out, grab breakfast, and then head over for our final ride at Little Creek Mesa or The Guacamole Trails (based on current conditions). Explore another great mix of slickrock, technical challenges, and tree-covered singletrack. Outcroppings of rock and groves of pinion and juniper will keep our senses entertained - the Magic Carpet Ride section is sure to leave you with a smile of the face. Heading back to St. George, we'll have a final lunch together before bidding farewell and leaving you to continue your travels independently. Those wishing to return to Las Vegas will receive a complimentary ride.
